Guest post by bride-to-be, Amy Foster. The one month countdown to my wedding day has begun! This means my schedule is full of pre-wedding meetings, hair and makeup trials (stay tuned next week for the details!) and DIY projects. Needless to say, I look forward to my spa days with Amanda each month as a way to de-stress (and not have to make any wedding decisions for a whole hour)!
Next, Amanda applied two layers of Pro 5 Exfoliant and performed extraction. I’m still experiencing a few flare ups around my chin so she focused on this area. After she finished with extractions, she added another layer of the Pro 5 Exfoliant before applying an even layer of glo’s Flower Enzyme, which she left on for 10 minutes. The Flower Enzyme is a great exfoliant for sensitive skin and helps with texture irregularities while brightening the complexion – exactly what I needed!
After removing the Flower Enzyme with a steamed towel, Amanda applied Cucumber Recovery Mask and left it on for another 10 minutes. She stressed the importance of re-hydrating the skin after performing extractions and an exfoliation. glo’s Cucumber Recovery Mask fit the bill perfectly because it not only hydrates, but helps soothe inflammation.
Amanda then applied Daily Power C followed by Daily Hydration to assist with brightening and hydration. To wrap up the treatment, she applied Eye Restore followed by Balancing Moisture Remedy and Solar Shade SPF 50. Amanda highly recommends adding these last three products to treatments during the summer months since they aren’t too heavy. She especially loves Solar Shade SPF 50. It doesn’t take long to blend in and it leaves the skin feeling extra soft to touch. Plus, it provides broad spectrum spf protection for even the most sensitive skin!
